[When you get there, there's nobody to be seen. What you will see, if you look down at the step, is a whole bunch of stuffed cats. Someone with really bad handwriting - clearly having thought better of bringing actual kittens to a guy who might not be set up to look after a cat right now - has attached a card to the biggest one's neck, reading 失礼しました. And, because they've remembered not everyone can read Japanese and even those who can have told them their handwriting's diabolical, they've added (realy sorry!) beneath it.]
